Default Obsidian Ranger

Well here's what I got, unfortunately I'm too poor to afford obsidian armor but this is a friend of mine's character. I know his face is incredibly ugly, but for all you know my friend is too

Ok, so I realize there are no quivers, buttsocks, etc. in GW but ordinary obsidian armor is so dull you'll agree it could do with a few accessories

I quite like it, especially the shading(some people are hopeless at shading), but here are dome things that bug me slightly;

-Where is the other half of his right foot? Is it behind the rock? If it is, then it doesn't seem like he would be able to balance. Maybe its just me though
-The lower half of the bow looks like it needs to be shaded a bit. It could just be the angle though.
-His dagger (battle knife sorta thing) seems like it needs shading, and it almost looks like it was an afterthought, if you know what I mean.

If I sound a bit mean, I'm sorry, but it's my bit of constructive criticism, and what you do with it, I don't care.

Sweet

I think the leg in the back could use some deeper shades at the top, where the light is totally overshadowed by the body. Now the parts on the lower leg have a deeper black than the darkest shade, I think they ought to be equal

I agree with Marty on his points aswell ^^

I really like the pose though, it seems very natural and you have a good sense for proportions aswell And indeed, those accessoires are needed ^^

I love people that give me criticism that I can actually use, not the stereotypical "b00 jo0r art r teh suxOrS" This one is actually about a year old, I just tried to clean it up a bit before I scanned it. I could get something up more recent if I tried. That one up there ^^^ took about a half an hour.

I should really learn not to rush...
